Welcome everyone to the brand new KansasCityKreations.com! I'm so excited to get this new site up and running. For those who are new, here's a little bit about me and this business!
My name is Brittani and I am a "retired" teacher from the Kansas City area. I say "retired" because I just left my teaching job last month to throw myself into this crazy little business full time. It was a big decision but I'm looking forward to what I can do with the time that I will have to devote to Kansas City Kreations. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and we have a 3 year old son. He loves to help mommy "stamp" in the shop...he even has his own hammer! Give it a couple years and I'm sure he'll be right there on the assembly line!
I started dabbling in jewelry about 5 years ago. I took a basic jewelry making class at a local craft store over the summer just to learn something new. After the class, I was searching for jewelry supplies online and stumbled on hand-stamping. I thought "hmm, well that looks like fun...you get to hit the crap out of things in the name of crafting?! Sign me up!" So I bought some basic supplies and the rest is history I guess you could say.
Things were pretty slow to start but then about a year later I had one of my mom necklaces (this one! https://www.kansascitykreations.com/products/mothers-washer-style-necklace-with-birthstones) featured on the front trending page of Etsy which was insane!
Fast forward a few years and here I am! Still going strong on Etsy, but branching out to my own website and also deal sites such as Jane, Groop Dealz, and Zulily, so keep an eye out there too!
